The General Manager of the National football academy, Enow Ngatchu remains convinced the newly created institution is Cameroon football panacea.
Identifying and producing the next generation of players and coaches for the national flagships now tops the scale of preference.
Enow Ngatchu hopes to turn Anafoot into a talent factory by leading the way in providing young players with an elite pathway to aspire to become professional footballers and hopefully future Indomitable Lions.
Speaking recently during his nationwide tour to market the immediate plans of the prestigious football academy the General Manager insists coaches with proven track record of producing players of the highest quality will be heavily involved in developing academy football’s philosophy and national curriculum.
According to him they will have a key role in establishing and implementing Anafoot’s long-term philosophy, playing style and youths training programs.
5OO hundred players under the age of 13 from across the national triangle in both categories in the coming weeks are set to take part in a selection exercise and Enow Ngatchu believes it will be the of a long and successful journey Anafoot plans to launch its activities in the month of December.
