The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have intensified training ahead of their day-6 2018 World Cup qualifier game pitting the Chipolopolos of Zambia.
The Lions play with the Zambian National team this Saturday 11th November 2017 in Ndola, Zambia.
The Lions took off from the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport at 4:30 p.m,Cameroonian time
The boys of Hugo Broos had the last training at 10:30 a.m at the Yaounde Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium before their flight.
Eventhough the two teams have been disqualified from the 2018 World Cup in Russia, it is obvious that a victory for either Cameroon or Zambia will raise the team’s position on the FIFA ranking.
One of the Lion’s frontrunners Christain Bassagog is temporarily in bad shape and has been replaced by Clarance Bitang of UMS, a newcomer.
Other players like Ernest Mabouka, Jean Patrick Nsame who are also dealing with injuries, have also been substituted by Abouem Maya of UMS of Loum ,Tientcheu Alphonse of Eding and Messi Mbouli of Apejes of Mfou, other newcomers.
