FIFPRO has unveiled the list of players nominated for its Women Awards with six Cameroonians included in the list.
The six who had a good season in their respective clubs abroad and also the African Women championship which Cameroon hosted, stand a chance of making it big.
They are Annette Ngo Ndom, Claudine Meffometou, Raissa Feudjo, Adjara Nchout Njoya, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene and Gaelle Enganamouit.
Out of the 19 nominees, Cameroon has the greatest number (6), followed by Kenya (5).
The International Federation of Professional Footballers, generally referred to as FIFPro, is a worldwide representative organisation for 65,000 professional footballers.
Its global headquarters is in Hoofddorp, Netherlands and is made up of 60 national players’ associations.
