The Cameroonian international Vincent Aboubakar is gradually becoming one of the African greats in the UEFA Champions League.

The FC Porto striker,voted player of the month of August, has just made his debut in the Top 10 of the African scorers of the Champions League.

Although the statistics are sometimes narrow, they confirm a certainty: the legendary Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o fils, worthy ambassadors of Africa throughout the Old Continent, are by far the two best African scorers in the history of champions League.

Drogba is the leading African scorer in the said competition with a total of 44 goals scored against 33 scored by the Indomitable Lion legend, Samuel Eto’o.

They are closely followed by, FC Basel’s striker Seydou Doumbia with 19 achievements on the meter.
