Best Stars Academy manager, Djoufack Keukang Saturnin, believes his charges are slowly getting their swagger back after the club routing of Leopards FC in a delayed Match day five fixtures at the ongoing Southwest Regional championship.
It has not been a fairytale campaign for the Limbe based giant’s high standards, however, the coach says Wednesday success underlined the dramatic improvements overseen by his team in this campaign.
“I think, starting this season, I was supposed to be a tailor to try and find the right fit for the team.
” The most important thing is the mentality, our strong mentality, also the hard work we do on tactics, fitness and other things”.
I’m pleased for my players, they deserved the victory because every day I see their commitment
Their hard work during training sessions. Their will to do more which is something important this season.
It is clear even for the blind to see,” he said.
Just three points separate Best Stars Academy and Group Leaders Mount Cameroon after six rounds of matches played.
There is now a growing feeling at the club that they have restored their fear factor and Coach Djoufack insists there is more to come from his playing staff this season.
After a modest playing career, Djoufack Saturnin has enjoyed something of a Midas touch as coach. He has won three titles with the team he coached and tutored.
