it has been a season of great exploits for the new look Eteki Esoh Memorial Sports Academy ( EEMSA) Tiko.

The Tiko based club created in 2006 have spent all its years playing amateur football in the South West region.

This season the club’s management has invested more and their investment is now showing signs of early rewards as the club made it to the round of 64 in this year’s Cup of Cameroon competition.

The season’s latest 1-0 win on Thursday away to Mount Cameroon FC of Buea in a match day 13 game for Pool B.

EEMSA’s lone goal was scored by Ngu Michael Ndifor at the 15th minute and it was the 5th time this season that the midfield maestro gifted with good ball control,good work ethics and skills of interception and distribution registered his name on the score sheet.

So far,out of 11 games played played by the Tiko club,They have recorded 6 wins,3 draws and 2 defeats.

The club has so far kept 7 cleans sheets and have sensational central defensive duo Serge Fabrice, Arrey Njie Tambe who protect Festus Ebere between the sticks.

Going into Thursday’s game EEMSA had been deducted 3 points by the homologation and discipline committee for fielding in a certain Mac Modest and 7 other players whose names were not mentioned. A decision EEMSA officials have vow to appeal.

With one game to the end of the championship EEMSA sits second on the log with 18 points with two points behind table toppers Best Stars of Limbe who have 20 points to their credit.

EEMSA welcome Leopards FC in the days ahead with the aim of picking up 3 points which would see them qualify for the Inter pool.

Leopards is the only club in Pool B still to suffer a defeat in the hands of the Boys of Ekokobe Joseph this Season.

So far Victoria United FC, St Peters of Limbe,Maumu Youth’s FC have all qualified for the prestigious regional knock out tournament ( Mini inter pool).
