Although the date for the football final of the Cup of Cameroon is yet to be made official, the Minister of communication, Issa Tchiroma has given a deadline for the submission of accreditation for coverage.
The annual closing ceremony for the 2017 sports season at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium seems imminent in Cameroon.
While waiting for the civil cabinet of the President of the Republic to make public the date, there are signs that this final, presided over by the Head of State, is imminent. The final mach will oppose UMS of Loum against New Stars of Douala and many other activities to mark the end of the 2017 sports season in Cameroon.
So, to ensure the coverage of this annual closing ceremony of the 2017 sports season at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium, the Minister of Communication invites the men and women of the media to submit their application for accreditation to his ministerial department latest Friday, November 10, 2017.
“The Minister of Communication brings to the attention of journalists from the national and international press wishing to ensure the media coverage of the closing ceremony of the activities of the 2017 sports season and the solemn presentation of the trophies to the winning cup clubs, the related accreditation procedures are opened in its ministerial department, in the direction of private media development and advertising.
To this end, they must submit no later than Friday, November 10, 2017 at 12 noon, a file containing the following documents: One (01) stamped application signed by the director of publication of the requesting body, and addressed to the Minister of Communication; One (01) photocopy of the national identity card of the journalist to be accredited; passport size photograph.
