The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon may have already been eliminated in the race for qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia but they are still motivated for the next FIFA last day of play in Africa.
They will face Zambia this Saturday at Lévy Mwanawasa Stadium in a match of honour but the Lions do not intend to relax.
Like Clinton Njié who told Football24 after his training session: “We have an important match to play on Saturday. We know what lies ahead and we are focused on making a good result in Zambia.
All games are important. That’s why sometimes we have friendly matches because they allow us to prepare for the competition. Currently, we are in third place in the group.
If we win on Saturday we will climb to the second place and it will help us for the FIFA ranking.”
