Twenty one year old Cameroonian left back,Bong Lionel Ngong in the books of YOSA of Bamenda, has been selected as the most effective left back in match day 24 of the MTN elite one championship.

In a publication of the team of the match day 24, on Wednesday, Bong was the only YOSA player selected after his excellent performance in Bamenda against Coton Sport FC of Garoua.

Bong who was named in the team of the first round of the elite one championship and even called up to the national selection of Cameroon has continued his excellent performance in the YOSA left back area after a brilliant start of the season.

Bong is partnered at the back by Landry Cedric Djomo of UMS of Loum after Djomo’s job against New Stars in Loum with Djob Lidjoh of Colombe of Dja and Brandon Djoufack of Eding Sport FC completing the back four.

Colombe’s match day 24 goal scorer against Stade Renard El Kass Pameli,plus Sime Junior of AS Fortuna,Richard Bassama of Astres and Martial Biyidi of Dragon complete the midfield quartet. They all put up an exceptional performance for their clubs on match day 24.

Martial got late Dragon’s equaliser against Eding Sport FC,Sime Junior scored Fortuna’s lone goal in a 1 nil win,while Richard Bassama provided the assist for Astres second goal.

In the attacking third of the team,the league has picked Baba Basile. Baba got a brace against Aigle for Fovu and Jose Sandjo,Astres’ goal scorer against Union Sportive Douala.

The team dominated by Fovu players has as coach Kammogne David of Fovu of Baham.
