Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly keeping tabs on Angers’ Cameroonian striker Karl Toko Ekambi.
Le 10 Sport claim that Brighton tabled a €16m offer for Ekambi in the January transfer window.
This was rejected at the time, but the Seagulls have retained an interest in the 25-year-old, who has netted 14 Ligue 1 goals in 27 appearances this season.
Angers were reportedly willing to sell the player, but Ekambi preferred to wait until the end of the season before making any decision on his future.
Ekambi was a member of Cameroon’s victorious 2017 Africa Cup of Nations squad and has also represented Paris FC and Sochaux in his club career.
