Bassogog’s Chinese club Henan Jianye has completed the signing of Orlando Sa from Belgian giants Standard Liege.
The Portuguese forward’s arrival at Jianye means that the Chinese Super League side now has three quality strikers in their striking department.
Sa will compete with his countryman Ricardo Vaz Te and Cameroon international Bassogog during the 2018 season.
Jianye confirmed the signing of Sa on their official website:
A club statement read: “By agreement with the Belgian standard Liège Football Club, the club’s Portuguese player Orlando Saiga joined Henan Jianye Football Club.”
“Orlando Sa came to APB Family at the last minute, and made us expect more from him. He hoped that he could integrate into the team as soon as possible and score wonderful goals for the fans,” another club statement read.
Meanwhile, Bassogog was in action as Jianye opened their 2018 Chinese Super League campaign with a defeat last week Friday. Tianjin Quanjian thumped Jianye 4-0 in Zhengzhou.
The 22-year-old marksman played the entire match. They will face Tianjin Teda in their next league game in Zhengzhou on Sunday.
