According to Coach Njoku Barnabas of Maumu Youth FC, the way the match was handled wasn’t objectively.

This, he said his side was robbed of many decisions since the referee was favouring Cinyodev due to the team’s relationship with the acting FECAFOOT president, Valery Ndazeh.

“The fact that you are the president of the Southwest FECAFOOT doesn’t mean that they have to favour your team.

We saw players in acts of assimilation falling down, refusing to play and yet some of them were not sanctioned.

Despite all these delays, the referee added just three minutes. This is really bad. It shows that there is a lot of support by officials shown towards Cinyodev.

As to the performance of his boys, Coach Barnabas Njoku said he was very happy for the fighting spirit shown by his side. He however, lamented the fact that they started the game in a poor way, but ended it in a high tempo and quality.

It was a great game and am happy with the results.” Coach Njoku told reporters.
