Cameroon’s MTN Elite 1 champions Eding FC of Lekie have signed 31-year old midfielder Paul Serge Atangana Mvondo on a 2 year deal.

The defensive midfielder who can equally operate a center back joins Eding after previous spells at other Elite One side like CANON Yaounde where he featured in the 2013 Cup of Cameroon final against YOSA.He later join Cotonsport of Garoua where he won the cup of Cameroon in 2014 and featured in the champions league 10 times.

He was a part of the Cameroon team in the CHAN competition in 2016 in Rwanda and joins Eding with a bag of experience to help the club created in 2012(Eding FC) write a good first story in African competition.

EDING FC is expected to do more business in the days ahead before the start of the season.
Saint Farbian Mvogo who was recently voted as winner of the SESCO(Sports excellence and creative winner) award is the main man behind the 5 years old Eding project.

The Eding FC squad is currently in camp at Akono.

The crunch pre season fixture against Bamboutous FC of Mbouda initially programmed for January 14th at the Douala Reunification stadium has been called off because of the unavailability of the stadium which amongst the stadia to inspected by CAF this month.
According to the team manager of Eding FC a release to that effect was sent to Eding FC this afternoon and both clubs will only proceed with the game if they can find another venue not related to the CAF inspection mission.
