The Turquish Super Lig over-looks Samuel Eto’o, as Galatasaray nearly does a clean sweep: Turkish football has grown over the years, with the ability to tempt the very best in recent times like (Drogba, Sneijder and Eto’o).

It was a move predictable when Samuel Eto’o (THA NEGRO) as he is referred to by Barcelona team-mates left Konyaspor for a palatable Quatar sports club contract.

During his spell in Turkey he took home over 50 goals, not bad for a 37 year-old or is it?
Samuel Eto’o helped safe the blushes of Turquish club’s last season (Antalyspor, Konyaspor).

He scored six in fifteen for the former and six in 12 for the later.

In a mathematical calculation without those goals, both club’s were sure of being relegated.

Samuel Eto’o during his time in Turkey acted as an Ambassador for the Euro 2024 with venue yet to be allocated.

With all these, an occasion was held by the super lig, and Eto’o wasn’t even present (as a recognized personality), nor was he given an award for his efforts on the pitch.
The accolades were presented as thus

Best goal- Ricardo
*Best player- Bafatimbi Gomis
*Best defender -Kepla Lima(pepe)
*Best keeper- Fernando Muslera
Best manager Fatih Terim of Galatasaray.

It was for no mistake that Galatasaray ran-out biggest winners, as their exploits of last campaign Saw them bag a twenty-first league title in the twenty-first century.
