Cameroonian born and Lioli FC of Lesotho’s forward Kum Bin Swithbert was decorated Man of the Match and top scorer in the just ended Lesotho Bank Independence Cup.

The final that took place on Sunday, October 28, 2018, saw the former Victoria United of Limbe forward scoring one of his side’s two goals in the final.

Kum scored the first goal in the encounter at the at the 33rd minute after a brilliant move from Lekyanya.

Three minutes after, Lioli FC will increased really to 2-0 thanks to a goal from Mafa.

In the second stanza, it was Bantu FC that reduced tally to 2-1 but however, failed to score another goal.

At the end of the tournament, Kum was voted Man of the match and given a check of Three Thousand Maloti.

He also won the top scorer award alongside other two players with the three having two goals each.

The Wum Boy from the Northwest Region of Cameroon, is gradually winning the hearts of the Lioli FC alias Tse Nala fans since joining the side in August 2018.

Speaking to the media after the game, Kum Swithbert thanked God for his first international award while also promising to do his best to see Lioli FC win silverware.

“I am happy to be here with my new family and it’s just the beginning of a new challenge in my career.

I will do my best to see that we win silverware this season,” the Cameroonian forward averred.

Lesotho Bank Independence Cup is a tournament played by best four teams in the previous season.
