The intermediate Lions of Cameroon have played a zero all tie with Nigeria in a build-up match to the 2018 African Nations Championship dubbed CHAN.

The match was played Wednesday 10 January, 2018, in Rabat-Morocco, where the Lions have been camping since last week.

Two friendlies programmed with Uganda and Zambia failed to take place. The Cranes of Uganda are said to have preferred Congo as sparring partners while Zambia had internal wrangling.

Yesterday’s virgin tie was a 3rd friendly for the intermediate lions after they drew 1-1 with Guinea Conakry and lost 1 to 3 to the Morocco.

The African Nations Championship starts on Saturday the 13th of January in Morocco.

Cameroon will play in the same group with Congo, Burkina Faso and hosts Morocco. Their first match comes up on the 16th against Congo.
