Owen Mbeh Mikel Ndze one of the most promising forward in Cameroon’s Professional League has proving to be a rare gem.

After two years playing with Cameroon’s Elite Two side, Bangbullet FC of Nkambe, the forward who hails from the Donga – Mantung Division in the Northwest region of Cameroon, is becoming a household name in Cameroon football in just a tender age.

Playing two years in the Elite Two championship, the 18-year-old has scored 12 goals in 30 games for Bangbullet FC and has provided a series of assists.

His performances in these past two years has not gone unnoticed as some football heavy weights in Cameroon football championship are currently seeking the signature of the forward.

Clubs like PWD Bamenda, Tonnerre Kalara Club, UMS of Loum among others are in race for his signature ahead of the 2018/2019 football season. In all, Owen Mbeh could be making his debut in Cameroon top flight football should he sign for any of the Elite One clubs that are after his signature.

Playing Style

Born on April 14, 2000, the 1.75cm tall forward is intelligent, extremely fast, and opportunistic player who has an excellent positional sense in the area, great eye for goal giving him a finishing ability with both his head and feet.

Tactically, Owen Mbeh is noted for his outstanding offensive movement off the ball, ability to play off the shoulders of the last defender, and to time his attacking runs to beat the offside trap, defensive work-rate, strength in the air, or long range striking ability. Also, his awareness, tactical intelligence, and positioning are some of the qualities capable of attracting a fair few glances from any club in the world.

He is capable of playing in several offensive positions, but usually plays as a striker or as a winger thanks to his physical strength, versatility, mobility and fitness. Playing as a winger, he is known for his fleet-footed skills and deadly crosses that always caused problems in the opponents’ goal area.

The young forward has been described by some football pundits as a “big-game player” due to his tendency to score decisive goals in important matches. He has the temperament and the ability to thrive under pressure and the amount of responsibility he is ready to take makes him a rare gem.
