Premier League clubs are tracking down on Cameroon-born France defender Ibrahim Amadou who is currently playing with Lille in France.
The Cameroonian is seen as a possible replacement for Virgil Van Dijk who left Southampton for Liverpool in a world record fee for a defender.
The 25-year-old energetic center-back has been impressive since joining Lille four years ago thus attracting a number of Premier League outfits.
Amadou is adept at playing at both centre-half and as a holding midfielder.
In the 2017 summer transfer window, Amadou was a target for Crystal Palace however; he stayed with Lille as a result of a hefty sum of £16 million put as a price tag for the star defender.
Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion are also in the race to sign the defensive midfielder.
