Michaël Ngadeu-Ngadjui will be leading Slavia Prague to the group stages of the Champions’ League this year, 10 years after the team’s last appearance in the competition, if they can hold on to their home lead over Bate Borisov.
The Czech Champions had a perfect start to their third round qualifying tie after beating Bate Borisov 1-0 at the Eden Arena.
Even though the soccer duel was fierce, Ngadeu-Ngadjui was imperious at the heart of the midfield, frustrating many attacking moves by his opponents.
He also created a number of scoring opportunities before trying to take one himself. The return leg of the third round playoff will take place on August 2 at the Borisov Arena.
