Unisport du Haut-Nkam has benefited from FIFA’s decision relegating Bamboutos FC of Mbouda to MTN Elite Two. The club from West region of Cameroon relegated after the end of the 2018 season will now be reinstated according to reports from FECAFOOT.
FIFA had earlier on relegated Bamboutos of Mbouda for failing to pay the salary of their former coach Johan Buyle’s salary.
The decision has seen Unisport du Haut-Nkam that ended the championship on the 16th spot with 40 points reinstated to MTN Elite One championship.
Meanwhile, 3rd place Bamboutos of Mbouda will see her continental ticket given to New Stars of Douala that ended the championship on the fourth position.
