Southwest Regional League champions Victoria United aka OPOPO of Limbe will face Elite One side Feutcheu FC of Djiko in a friendly encounter.

The friendly match which will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Limbe Centenary Stadium will kick off at exactly 3 pm local time.

The friendly is part of the preparations for the upcoming National Interpools tournament for ascension into Elite Two championship.

Meanwhile, for Feutcheu FC, they are using it to prepare ahead of the 2018/2019 Elite One season which is to start on November 3, 2018.

Since the National Interpools tournament was recently postponed for the second time, Southwest representative, Victoria United aka OPOPO (One People One Power) have been involved in a series of friendly games.

The boys of coach Joseph Mbock Maput were beaten in Yaounde by 2017 Elite One champions Eding Sport of Lekie 3-1.Recently, they edged TYSA in Tiko 1-0.

They are drawn in Group A of the National Interpools tournament with Leopard FC of Douala, Rainbow FC of Bamenda and East Regional league champions.

After failing to qualify for Elite Two championship two years ago, the Limbe based side will be looking forward this year to fight tooth and nail for a place in Elite 2 season next year.

With the date for the playoffs yet to be announced, coach Mbock Maput and his boys will need to continue fine-tuning their strategies.
